UPDATE! - Ultimate Renovations is proud and excited to be the recent recipient of an Alberta Award of Excellence presented on September 16, 2011 by the Canadian Home Builders' Association - Alberta. From the Calgary Herald... "Ultimate Earns Provincial Honour for Renovation Excellence". Ultimate is also thrilled to once again be chosen as Calgary's RENOVATOR OF THE YEAR at the Calgary Home Builder's Association SAM gala. Among our other award winners this year: BEST KITCHEN, BEST BASEMENT, and BEST RENOVATION WITHOUT ADDITION, bringing our award total throughout the years to an unparalleled 26!

 

This year also marks our 7th win for RENOVATOR OF THE YEAR (a prestigious title our closest competitor has won only twice). Lastly, after another terrific year for industry recognition, Ultimate has passed another milestone with over 40 cumulative nominations in Renovation awards categories. Established on July 16, 1979 as a simple 2-man operation, focusing on an unserviced Edmonton window cladding & replacement market, Ultimate has now grown to a full service large scale renovation company. Today, Ultimate employs a large number of skilled renovation trades (e.g. plumbers, carpenters, cabinetmakers, etc.)

Both offices/showrooms (Calgary and Edmonton) are owned by the company and designed to demonstrate a few of the endless possibilities available to today's renovation customer. As with many successful small businesses, Ultimate began its operations from a 500 square foot garage. Today, it operates from a total of just under 2 acres of land and 15,000 square feet of building space.

Over 3 decades of experience and the excitement towards the endless possibilities for the future continue to motivate the Ultimate Team.

"The secret," says Danny Ritchie, founder and President, "is to assertively pursue your opportunities while not over leveraging your resources."  Most businesses do not succeed overnight, and Ultimate is no exception.

 During the last few years, Ultimate has experienced a surge in the demand for large-scale professionally managed renovations.  As a result, it has increased its team of highly skilled people in order to be in a position to maintain the high level of quality its customers have come to expect.

Update!  Ultimate has recently finished renovating its fully owned Calgary office and shop area,  which now includes a state-of-the-art cabinet making facility.  Our showroom is also in the process of being expanded to offer our clients an even better experience when they visit us.  We look forward to seeing you!
